Martin St-Louis still with the Canadiens? An important piece of information has surfaced, and he's still the one pulling the strings
We're not used to this, but it's currently Trevor Letowski who's doing the interviews after practices and games.
It's strange to see someone other than Martin St-Louis, but we all understand why. Letowski is there for the media, for the players, and during the games, but that doesn't mean he's the one pulling the strings.
Indeed, even though St-Louis has returned home, he's still the one pulling the strings. Letowski is in constant communication with him.
"Trevor Letowski says despite being away from the team attending to his family matter, he and Martin St-Louis are in constant contact and MSL is still very much involved in the day-to-day of the team." - Priyanta Emrith
This is significant information. It means that Trevor isn't the one making decisions, but rather executing them. Martin is still the one sending directives, and we love it.
The fact that he's still so involved means a lot for the team, and his contribution is very important. It also means that his son must be doing okay given the circumstances.
