Plot twist and major announcement from the Canadiens to come: It's very encouraging for the possible return of Kirby Dach this season
We've been seeing it for a few weeks now, and we're really starting to believe it: Kirby Dach should theoretically be able to return to play this season.
He's been practicing in full gear and looks great on the ice. He could defy all the odds, and his return is highly anticipated. He's working hard towards that goal.
This morning, he was still on the ice in Brossard, with Christian Dvorak. We expect a major announcement from the Canadiens regarding him in the coming days.
"Kirby Dach and Christian Dvorak skate together, dressed as Canadiens.
The second best news of the week after the lengthening days."
- Simon-Olivier Lorange
The next step for Kirby is to practice with his teammates with contact, after which we'll have a very good idea of his return to play date.
Remember that the young man has been with the team all season. He's been involved in practices, video sessions, and games.
