Brett Kulak's name is well-known to Canadiens fans, and he could very well be on the move again.

The Oilers urgently need to create cap space to match the offer sheets submitted for Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway, and Kent Hughes might have set a precedent.

A trade similar to that of Sean Monahan is quite possible, with Brett Kulak and/or Cody Ceci being potential targets.

"According to information from Bruce Garrioch of the 'Ottawa Citizen,' two defensemen have been identified as trade candidates: Cody Ceci and Brett Kulak. [...] Garrioch also suggests that a first- or second-round pick might be necessary to convince a team to close a potential deal involving Ceci or Kulak."

Oilers GM Stan Bowman now has to decide whether it's better to lose a top-64 pick or lose two promising young players for second- and third-round picks.

In my opinion, the answer is simple, especially since Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway were first-round picks. They are young and full of potential.

The Oilers will have no choice but to pay the price to offload one of the mentioned defensemen or another less desirable player.
