Signing a big forward for Kent Hughes and the Canadiens?
Kent Hughes and the Canadiens announced they signed defenseman Lane Hutson on Friday, which is very good news. Another good announcement is expected today.
In fact, Lane's teammate at Boston University, Luke Tuch, could potentially sign with the Canadiens in the next few hours.
"Going to be very interesting to see what the Canadiens decide to do with Luke Tuch after this weekend.
Nothing is a sure thing, but I'd be a tad surprised if he's not signed by week's end.
The Canadiens lack that combo of size and speed."
- Marco D'Amico
The 6'3" and 210 lb forward has everything to appeal to the Canadiens. He is the perfect prototype for Kent Hughes, starting with the quality of teammates he is.
For a big guy, he has great skating ability. He will undoubtedly be Josh Anderson's successor, hoping he is more consistent.
