Solid acquisition of a big forward in the Montreal Canadiens organization
The Trois-Rivières Lions, the ECHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens, have made a solid acquisition of a towering forward to assist them in their end-of-season push.
Benjamin Tupker is now part of the Canadiens' organization. At 24 years old, the 6'3" and 191 lbs behemoth is an asset for the team on both ends of the ice.
"The Trois-Rivières Lions have announced the signing of forward Benjamin Tupker.
He will bring good leadership to the team as well as being an excellent player on both ends of the ice, known for his intensity, passion, and speed!"
- Trois-Rivières Lions
If his end-of-season performance goes well, he could be the next one invited to the Canadiens' camp, much like John Parker-Jones. From there, the possibility remains to move up with the Rocket.
