Sudden departure: Major announcement from Chantal Machabée
One of the Canadiens' good acquisitions for the administration in recent years is undoubtedly the hiring of Chantal Machabée.
The VP of Communications for the Canadiens has brought a breath of fresh air and many changes can be attributed to her, starting with the transparency of the general manager.
Of course, there are times when transparency is impossible for Kent Hughes, just as it is for the organization. We think notably of the sudden departure of Martin St-Louis last year.
Speaking of sudden departures, it was with great surprise that we learned of Marc Labrecque's departure from RDS. The host has retired, and Chantal posted a heartfelt tribute to him.

Undoubtedly, Marc was greatly appreciated by his colleagues and viewers. He was professional and will be missed by the dynamic team at RDS.
For Chantal, what's remarkable is that she has never forgotten where she comes from with her new responsibilities with the Canadiens. She has never let her head get swollen and has remained as kind as she has always been.
It's truly to her credit!
