Suspension and termination of contract within the Montreal Canadiens organization: Defenseman Markuss Komuls returns to Latvia
It's always sad to learn that a player is leaving an organization and that their contract has been terminated. This was the case with Corey Perry earlier in the season, notably.
In the Montreal Canadiens organization, it has just happened, as defenseman Markuss Komuls has been suspended by the Trois-Rivières Lions in order to terminate his contract.
"The Trois-Rivières Lions have placed defenseman Markuss Komuls on the suspended list with the intention of removing him from the roster.
He will be leaving to pursue other opportunities in his home country."
The Latvian is returning to his homeland, and we will certainly see him again during international events.
Good luck in your future endeavors, Markuss!
