The Canadiens' projected lines are currently causing a stir on the web
What's interesting with the Canadiens right now is seeing all these talented young players joining the organization.
It's no wonder the Laval Rocket is so popular. Players like Logan Mailloux, Arber Xhekaj, and David Reinbacher are rare finds.
We could even add Joshua Roy, although he joined the big club mid-season.
Analyst Marc-Olivier Beaudoin has projected the Canadiens' lineup for the 2025-26 season, including this year's first-round pick.
"The skeleton of the Canadiens in 2025-26 if Demidov/Lindstrom is the selection:
Slafkovsky-Suzuki-Demidov/Lindstrom
Caufield-Dach-X
Roy-Newhook-X
RHP-Beck-X
Matheson-Guhle
Hutson-Reinbacher
Xhekaj-Mailloux
Struble
Montembeault-Primeau
Obviously, it takes veterans to surround this young core. And ideally, Guhle would be moved to the left side." - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin
This becomes very interesting, and it doesn't yet include the next acquisitions by Kent Hughes. My intuition tells me there's too much smoke for there not to be a trade for a forward by the end of the summer.
I would be very surprised if the status quo remains.
