We saw it with the Canadiens: Sean Monahan missed most, if not all, of the team's practices to undergo therapy days.

With his injury history, it's never good news. The Canadiens got the best of him this season, but the Jets paid a hefty price to acquire him.
It turns out that during the morning skate with his new team, Monahan was once again absent to receive treatments. That was enough to raise concerns in Winnipeg.
A freshly acquired player, traded for a first-round pick, missing the first morning skate with the team on a game day. It must be admitted that it's not reassuring.
Nevertheless, there is relief in their case as the center will be in his position and will play his first game with his new team on Tuesday night.
"Rick Bowness says Monahan is fine and will play. All morning skates are optional." - Mitchell Clinton, Winnipeg journalist

Monahan is inevitably dealing with an injury, so his situation needs to be monitored. He hasn't participated in the Canadiens' morning skates for over a month to undergo treatments.
He will play on the second line with Cole Perfetti and Nikolaj Ehlers. Still, it's a good start for him!
