Horrible scene involving Vladislav Namestnikov and a puck
It's never a good sign when a player falls to the ice after blocking a shot, especially when the puck hits them in the face.
Just ask Vladislav Namestnikov, who will certainly remember the 4th game of the series between the Jets and the Avalanche. A deflected shot struck him in the head, and it's very concerning.
Indeed, Namestnikov remained on the ice for a long time before being helped back to the locker room by trainers.
The worry was so palpable that a stretcher was even brought onto the ice. An accidental scene that sends shivers down your spine.
