Important offer sheet about to be concluded with young Robertson?

This summer, there were two offer sheets made, both of which were completed as the Edmonton Oilers did not match offers for Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway.

It might now be Nick Robertson's turn from the Toronto Maple Leafs, who requested a trade earlier this summer and wants to find a team that will give him a chance to play in a top-six role.

In Toronto, there isn't really a spot for him with the high-profile players, and the young forward seems to believe he can thrive elsewhere. Nick is the younger brother of star player Jason Robertson from Dallas.

Nick Robertson is certainly one of the best, if not the best, player under 23 with the Maple Leafs, and he was selected by Kyle Dubas, who is now with Pittsburgh.

After registering 27 points in 56 games last year, the younger Robertson believes in himself, and it wouldn't be surprising if he receives an offer, as he is currently a restricted free agent.

Toronto currently has $1.275 million in cap space, making it difficult for them to sign the young player. Acquiring a pick equivalent to his selection, a second-rounder, could be appealing to them.

If you're wondering if the Canadiens could be in the mix, it would be very surprising. Young Joshua Roy is not even guaranteed a top-six spot, nor is Alex Newhook, so Kent Hughes is unlikely to pursue another player to overshadow them.
