The Montreal Canadiens aren't the only team in the National Hockey League that has suffered numerous injuries early in the season.

It's pitiful for the Colorado Avalanche.

According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, general manager Chris MacFerland is actively looking for help on offense.

This opens the door to a possible collaboration between the Canadiens and the Avalanche.

One name often comes up in speculation: Christian Dvorak.

Not appreciated by Montreal fans for his limited impact on the ice, Dvorak could benefit from a new start.

His departure to Colorado would also free up $4.45 million under the Canadiens' salary cap, unless a regular player is included in exchange.

However, Dvorak's integration into the Avalanche raises some questions, including his role once the injured players return and the management of his salary which could put the team in financial difficulty.

While this scenario remains speculative, it is not unlikely that Hughes and MacFarland explore this option for their respective teams.
