Gilbert Delorme, on BPM Sports, put forward a trade proposal that's generating buzz involving Brady Tkachuk and David Reinbacher.

Gilbert mentioned that he would be willing to trade David Reinbacher, the fifth pick, and the 26th pick to acquire Brady Tkachuk from the Ottawa Senators.

Interesting suggestion!

At 24 years old, with an imposing frame of 6 feet 4 inches and 225 pounds, Tkachuk was the fourth overall pick in the 2018 draft.

Just behind Rasmus Dahlin, Andrei Svechnikov, and a certain Jesperi Kotkaniemi. With a salary of $8.2 million, Tkachuk would be the highest-paid forward in the Canadiens organization if the trade went through.

Reinbacher, on the other hand, arrived in North America towards the end of last season. He is 19 years old and was a first-round pick, 5th overall, in 2023.

David Reinbacher began his career in the Canadiens organization with the Laval Rocket, who were in a playoff race at the end of the season.

With a record of 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points in 11 games, Reinbacher made a good first impression to start his career in the organization.

Would you be willing to sacrifice two first-round picks in the next NHL draft and David Reinbacher for Brady Tkachuk?

Does Brady Tkachuk want to stay in Canada?

We remember that his brother Matthew Tkachuk started his career with the Calgary Flames before being traded to the Florida Panthers on July 22, 2022.

Therefore, the Canadiens' offseason promises to be interesting and, above all, important in the rebuilding process initiated by the duo of Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes on November 21, 2021.
