Josh Anderson is involved in a superstition story with Corey Perry
It was Saturday night when Corey Perry made his debut with the Edmonton Oilers. Although the team is on an incredible winning streak right now, his arrival did not prevent them from securing another victory with a score of 4-1.
Even though their winning streak is the talk of the town in Edmonton, it's a photo of Corey Perry that has caught our attention.
The former Montreal Canadien was seen with a stick belonging to Josh Anderson, and it speaks volumes about his superstitions. This dates back to the 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Corey Perry was in a slump, and his stick had broken. He had received one from Anderson and scored a crucial goal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Nearly three years later, he's still playing with Josh's sticks!
