Martin St-Louis had a surprise for us live from Vegas
We're the first to say that we love Samuel Montembeault and want him to be the Canadiens' number one goaltender, but we have to face the reality that Jake Allen is simply dominant right now.
Number 34 is in his zone, and he undoubtedly deserves to be the number one goaltender. This has nothing to do with Samuel, who is also playing good hockey.
For this reason, we were convinced that Martin St-Louis would call on Allen to face the formidable Golden Knights, who have yet to suffer a regulation loss this season.
However, there's a little surprise here as it will be Monty who gets the start. We know he's capable of his best and is a fighter, so let's hope he plays a significant role in handing the home team their first regulation loss tonight!
