Acquisition of a former teammate of Connor Bedard: it's confirmed
The Canadiens organization has announced the signing of a forward who trained with one of the best during his junior career, Connor Bedard.
Indeed, Logan Nijhoff is joining the Trois-Rivières Lions, the Canadiens' ECHL affiliate.
"Logan Nijhoff will begin his first season with the Lions!
His excellent skating, 200-foot game, and experience will be valuable assets for the team!
Welcome to the team, Logan!" Trois-Rivières Lions
Nijhoff is an undisputed leader and a player with a solid background of experience, having played 50 games in the American Hockey League.
While it might not seem very impressive, at the ECHL level, it is a significant acquisition.
He is undoubtedly a player with the potential to climb the ranks and make it to the Laval Rocket if needed. His skills, including his extraordinary skating, are a big plus.
Congratulations to Logan and welcome to the Canadiens organization!
