Cole Caufield underwent shoulder surgery last season, and several signs have led us to believe he was not entirely comfortable this season.

Indeed, the young forward displayed some concerning signs during one-time shots and in other situations. The good news, however, is that he hasn't missed any games.

His health raised concerns among many, but rest assured, he is doing very well. So much so that he has agreed to represent his country in the upcoming World Championship.

It has been confirmed that Cole Caufield will be in Finland in the coming weeks to represent the United States, which will have a strong team.

They automatically become the favorites going into the tournament. It's worth noting that the team's general manager, Bill Guerin, was very persuasive, suggesting that players should accept if they hope to go to the Olympics.

As for Caufield, it will be an honor for him to represent his country.

"I want to play more hockey, grow my game and represent my country." - Cole Caufield in an end-of-season summary.

So, the rumors were false. Cole was not injured, and he hasn't lost his scoring touch either. He completed his year with 28 goals and 65 points, which is far from bad at his age.
