Now that he will miss four months of action, it's time for someone else to take his place and perhaps keep it. That's how professional hockey works.
Rafaël Harvey-Pinard's replacement identified?
A Canadiens fan was quick to notice an important detail in the video of Patrik Laine and Nick Suzuki.
Indeed, Owen Beck's name is on a plaque, in the middle of summer. It's certainly not a coincidence. It doesn't guarantee anything, but it does give an idea.
Young Owen Beck is probably the closest forward prospect to the NHL because he is very responsible defensively. He can play wing or center and can fill a spot on the bottom two lines without wasting his potential.
I don't know if he will be the player chosen by Kent Hughes and Martin St-Louis, but one thing is certain: there will be a replacement for RHP, and logic would suggest it could be Owen Beck.
