No break for Kent Hughes and NHL GMs as the draft, development camp, free agent market, and other events are fast approaching.

While it might seem like summer and they could take it easy, that's far from the truth. The GMs are very active as the next season is coming quickly.

Kent Hughes has a lot on his plate to improve his team, and it starts with the prospects.

In this regard, he has just invited Josh Nadeau to the development camp.

"The Canadiens have invited forward Josh Nadeau to their development camp.

Nadeau is 20 years old and has a small frame (5'8 / 160 pounds) but just had a season of 45 points in 37 games in the NCAA.

And yes, he's Bradley's brother!" - Marc-Olivier Beaudoin

I don't know if you're aware, but 45 points in 37 games in the NCAA is a very solid production. Nadeau may be small, but he has a keen offensive sense, no doubt about it.

With a coach like Martin St-Louis, this could be a very solid acquisition, and at worst, Kent Hughes could offer him a two-way contract to help the Laval Rocket.

Of course, we know that NCAA players cannot sign professional contracts, so Nadeau would not be able to participate in the rookie camp and training camp unless he gives up playing in the NCAA for the rest of his career.
