Kirby Dach injured again? Very concerning scene at practice
The best news for Martin St-Louis could become the worst news for the Canadiens if Kirby Dach gets injured again.
Indeed, the coach can finally count on his second-line center, who missed 80 games last season. That's a long time for anyone.
His return is a blessing for Martin St-Louis, but a serious injury could quickly turn into a disaster for the Canadiens.
Kirby Dach injured again?
During practice, there was a scary moment when Dach was hit in the face after a collision with Jayden Struble along the boards.
It's clear that even in practice, there are no soft touches, and the players are going hard. That's just how it is, and no one is going to cut Dach any slack because of his past injuries.
Fortunately, it seems there was more fear than harm, but he must avoid getting hurt again. It could be a real nightmare.
"Kirby Dach takes a stick to the face during practice. He's not happy but seems okay to return to the bench."
- Stu Cowan
Let's hope he can stay healthy for the majority of the games this season.
