It is without a doubt that we can confirm the Canadiens made a true steal in a trade with the Vegas Golden Knights.

In 2018, Marc Bergevin traded Max Pacioretty for Nick Suzuki, Tomas Tatar, and a second-round pick. This trade continues to be highly beneficial for the Canadiens.

Not only has Nick Suzuki become the team's captain, but Tomas Tatar also provided great services to the CH. In return, the Golden Knights traded Max Pacioretty for future considerations to the Carolina Hurricanes.

We mention this because today marks exactly six years since this trade occurred, and the conclusion is that the Canadiens won hands down.

This is probably Marc Bergevin's best trade with the Canadiens, and the team will benefit from it for a long time to come.

Speaking of Max Pacioretty, he is expected to sign a contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs, according to Darren Dreger. We will learn more in the coming hours.
