The agent of Logan Mailloux loses his cool and we have the details
The Montreal Canadiens prospect Logan Mailloux has been impressing with the Rocket, but it hasn't always been easy. Negative details have come to light, and his agent is visibly upset.
Indeed, as admitted by Jean-François Houle, the head coach of the Rocket, Logan was arriving late to important practices and meetings at the beginning of the season.
These remarks are harsh, but they are public and were made in a press conference by Houle. There is nothing secret about it. However, things have significantly improved since then.
The hosts of the Stanley25 podcast, Max Truman and JT Utah, relayed the information and were strongly criticized by Mailloux's agent.
"There's Logan Mailloux's agent, who wrote to me and said that it's completely false, that we're spreading slander when we say that his player missed practices and meetings. He said we were spreading falsehoods. He probably wanted us to apologize or retract. [...] In the last episode, we said that Logan has been exemplary for several weeks and months. But why lash out at two podcast hosts who are merely repeating the coach's words? Frankly, Mailloux's agent missed the mark on this one.
