The reaction of Juraj Slafkovsky and Cole Caufield after the victory is just perfect
The least we can say is that the comeback from the break went well for the Canadiens.
Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkovsky scored twice, Cole Caufield extended his point streak to 10 games, Michael Pezzetta had his first career game-winning goal, and Samuel Montembeault was on fire.
The recipe was perfect for a nice 5-2 victory. A few hours after the Sean Monahan trade, it was quite unexpected, but the players did exactly what Kent Hughes asked of them, which is to play as a team.
Upon their return to the locker room, the players were happy, especially Juraj Slafkovsky and Cole Caufield. Their smiles were simply contagious!
