Matt Rempe finally gets destroyed by Mathieu Olivier
In four NHL games, Matt Rempe already has three fights, an ejection, and 27 penalty minutes. He has spent more time in the penalty box than on the ice quite a feat!
On Saturday, he provided strong opposition to Nicolas Deslauriers, one of the NHL's top fighters. On Sunday, in his 5th career game, he went up against Mathieu Olivier, and it didn't go well.
Indeed, the young player came down to earth and received a beating. This fight might sober him up, as it wouldn't be surprising if he suffered a concussion. He looked very dazed.
The 21-year-old will need to change his playing style and stop fighting unnecessarily, or he may have a very short career in the NHL otherwise.
